Guidelines
Community guidelines
Last updated: May 27, 2026 ¡ Version 1.0
Tamtego is built for real activities: sports, plans, local hangouts, and meetups organized through the app.
These guidelines are part of our rules for using the service. They protect users, hosts, and participants from behavior that breaks trust or creates safety risks.
For serious or repeated violations, we may hide content, limit features, remove an activity, suspend an account, or block access to Tamtego.
1. Community purpose
Tamtego is not for mass outreach or dating-style pressure. Contact should come from a genuine intent to create, join, or discuss an activity.
- Message with context: refer to the activity, shared plan, or topic you want to discuss.
- Do not send repetitive, low-effort messages to many people.
- Do not use the app for romantic pressure, harassment, or attempts to ignore someone's boundaries.
2. Respectful communication
Talk as if you may meet the person in real life, because on Tamtego that is often the point.
- Threats, intimidation, harassment, humiliation, and repeated contact after rejection are not allowed.
- Hate speech or dehumanizing content targeting origin, gender, orientation, religion, disability, or other protected traits is prohibited.
- Do not send sexual, vulgar, or explicit content without clear consent from the recipient.
3. Profiles and authenticity
Your profile should help people understand who they are planning an activity with.
- Use your own name, nickname, or a name that does not impersonate someone else.
- Do not create fake accounts, pretend to be another person, or hide information that matters for the safety of a meetup.
- If you add a profile photo, it must not mislead other users or violate someone else's rights.
- Do not put sensitive data, card details, addresses, phone numbers, or someone else's private information in your bio.
4. Prohibited content and conduct
Some content and behavior are not allowed in the app or during activities arranged through Tamtego.
- Violence, threats, stalking, harassment, physical or sexual assault, and encouragement of such behavior are prohibited.
- Do not organize or promote illegal activity, drug sales, scams, fraud, pyramid schemes, or false fundraisers.
- Do not post spam, phishing, bulk links, unsolicited commercial content, or material designed to manipulate the platform.
- Do not use bots, scraping, automation, VPNs, or other tools to bypass bans, limits, or moderation decisions.
- Do not share content promoting self-harm, violence, weapons, injury, blood, or other material that may put users at risk.
5. Privacy and chats
Chat is for planning and keeping in touch around activities. Protect your privacy and other people's privacy.
- Do not share someone else's photos, conversations, addresses, phone numbers, financial data, or private plans without consent.
- Do not pressure people to move the conversation outside Tamtego, especially when they do not want to.
- Do not ask for payments, deposits, or financial information in chat. Tamtego does not handle payments between participants.
6. Activities
An activity should be clear, lawful, and realistic for the time and place listed.
- Hosts should provide an accurate description, time, place, participant limit, and joining rules.
- Participants should read the details before joining and should not bring people who are not included in the activity.
- Meet in sensible, safer places. If something feels wrong, leave the plan and report it.
- Cancel activities when plans change. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may lead to account limits.
- Everyone is responsible for their own decisions, costs, and safety during a meetup. Tamtego is not the organizer of user events.
7. Safety of younger people
If younger people appear in an activity, profile, or content, protect their privacy, guardian consent, and real-world safety.
- Do not use activities, chats, or profiles to pressure, manipulate, or sexualize younger people.
- Do not publish photos or data of younger people without a clear basis and guardian consent.
- Activities involving younger people must be lawful, clearly described, and run in a safe way.
8. Blocking and reporting
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Tamtego does not replace emergency assistance.
- You can block a user from their profile or conversation. Blocking limits contact and visibility between accounts.
- Blocking is not the same as reporting. If someone breaks these rules, send a report in the app so moderation can review it.
- Do not abuse blocking, reporting, or safety tools to harass people or make the app harder for them to use.
